Plans, engineers and coordinates lifting operations so that
every lift is properly assessed, approved and executed in accordance with ADNOC
requirements and the approved lift plan.
Site based role for a fast track ADNOC brownfield project in
Ruwais involving bulk civil works, including right of way preparation,
excavation and trenching, access road preparation, berm construction, grading
and compaction, and associated culvert works.
·
Develop the project lifting plan, lifting
procedures, lift categorization criteria and lifting equipment control
arrangements.
·
Prepare, review and approve routine, non-routine, complex and critical lift plans within the limits of delegated
authority.
·
Calculate load weight, center of gravity, crane
utilization, rigging loads, ground bearing pressure, outrigger reactions and
safety clearances.
·
Select suitable cranes, lifting accessories,
spreader beams, mats and rigging configurations and verify capacity against
manufacturer load charts.
·
Assess brownfield interfaces including live
facilities, overhead and underground services, adjacent operations, restricted
access and simultaneous activities.
·
Coordinate engineered ground preparation and
crane positioning on ROWs, access roads, excavation edges, culverts, berms and
temporary working platforms.
·
Lead pre lift meetings and coordinate with
ADNOC, operations, HSE, permit, construction, equipment owners and specialist
lifting subcontractors.
·
Verify valid third-party certificates,
inspections, color coding, operator competence, APLO approval and equipment
documentation before mobilization and use.
·
Attend and supervise critical lifts, confirm
compliance with the approved lift plan and stop work if conditions, equipment
or parameters change.
·
Maintain the lifting register, lift plan status,
equipment records and technical calculations and support audits and incident
investigations.
·
Provide technical guidance to Lifting
Supervisors, crane operators, riggers and banksmen and ensure lessons learned
are implemented.

Minimum 8 years of lifting operations
experience, including at least 5 years on ADNOC projects in brownfield areas.
·
Valid ADNOC APLO competency and approval
applicable to the operating company and project location is mandatory.
·
Recognized lifting engineering, appointed person
or crane and rigging qualification is required.
·
Demonstrated experience preparing engineered and
critical lift plans, calculations, crane studies and ground bearing
assessments.
·
Strong knowledge of ADNOC lifting requirements,
BS 7121, LOLER and applicable international lifting standards.
·
Full-time site assignment in Ruwais for the
duration of the project.
· Must be able to work within a fast-track programme, extended site hours and shift arrangements when required.
Deployment is subject to client approval, valid competency records, medical fitness, site induction and access requirements.
